In 2016 Mogilev region’s enterprises export goods to 99 countries

In 2016 Mogilev region’s enterprises have exported goods to 99 countries. The information is provided by the regional economy department.

For the first time goods are exported to 17 countries including Algeria, Ghana, Yemen, Malta, Japan. 2015 quadrupled the export targets of the region. The target set by the Council of Ministers for 2015 was $600. The region’s export of 2015 totaled $2,4 m.

2016 continues to expand new markets. Vladimir Domanevsky, head of Mogilev region’s authorities, says that the region is diversifying its export markets in the Eurasian Economic Union, the European Union, Japan, Italy, the USA. Mogilev region’s enterprises are taking various measures to be competitive there. The region will also continue cooperation with the Russian Federation and the countries of the CIE.
