Within January-August nominal average monthly salary made up Br1,501,200, that of August - Br1,804,000. It stands for 147.3% and 155.5% increase respectively comparing with the same periods of the previous year, Svetlana Tarasenko, the head of labour, employment and social protection management committee of Mogilev region executive committee told.
Average salary in regional government-financed organizations made up Br1,357,800 within the eight months and Br1,474,000 – in August. It stands for 161.1% and 158.1% increase respectively comparing with the same periods of the previous year. The region has been the leader in the sphere of government-financed organizations’ salary in the republic. There was Br106,900 salary increase (6.3%) in August comparing with that of July.
In September 500 regional organisations provided 111 273 employees (41.9% of employees on the list of self-sustained organizations) with financial benefits. On an average each person got about Br308,900. Thus, Br34,4 billion was spent by the enterprises. In some organisations the benefits made up Br500,000. 2216 employees of JSC “Babushkina Krynka” were provided with Br 1million lump-sum payment. 19 more organisations mean to provide their employees with benefits at the beginning of December.
According to the decision of the Belarusian government, first category base wage rate increases by 28% since October 1 (to make up Br151,000). It aims at further increasing of salary of government-financed organizations’ employees.
“Organisations of the real sector of economy are recommended to calculate wages in correspondence with the first category base wage rate set”, - Svetlana Tarasenko added.
