90 works are exhibited at International pleinair in painting "Image of Motherland in fine art" that opened today at Mogilev regional art museum named after Pavel Maslennikov.
This year pleinair was dedicated to two anniversaries - the 95th birthday of the honoured figure of arts of Belarus, Mogilev native, Pavel Maslennikov, and the 65th anniversary of liberating Belarus from German-fascist invaders. 30 artists from 9 countries (Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Serbia, Montenegro, Armenia, Moldova, Israel, and Belarus) took part at the pleinair. They were creating their works on May, 6 - 25, at the very picturesque places of Bobruisk, Kirovsk, Osipovichi districts of Mogilevregion, as well in Mogilevitself.
Anatoly Sinkovets, the head of culture department of Mogilevregional executive committee, remarked during his meeting with the correspondent of our site, that the pleinair succeeded. Besides the three pictures that the artists were to create on the terms of the pleinair, they had made many etudes to develop in future.
On May, 22, the participants of the pleinair took part in final concert of Mogilevregion that was held in Minsk. The best works for 13 years of conducting pleinair were exhibited within the frameworks of Minskfestival.
