9 October Mogilev branch of RUE “Belpochta” holds quiz dedicated to International Post-Office Day

9 October is the 135th anniversary of Foundation of International Post-Office Union; the day is to be celebrated all over the world.
Mogilev post-office has a long history; it was founded in 1772 on behalf of the special edit of Ekatherine II. The first Mogilev postmaster was Kuzma Kondratievich Koritsky. In 1815 the second post-office was founded in Mogilev.

Postal establishments cover the whole territory of the state, and in agricultural areas sometimes they are the only institutions that serve all core services, and are among the main means of communication. Nowadays 503 post-offices of Mogilev region serve 40 services to its citizens.
