About 40 teams partook at “Innovations Cup” regional contest. Students, their teachers and research supervisors presented dozens of innovation projects. 29 of them reached the final stage of the contest; the results were summed up on New Year eve.

Each of the teams was awarded a prize of Br10 mln. The project of establishing a historical-cultural centre to attract tourists was recognised the second-best (awarded the prize of Br7 mln); and the technology of preparing foodstuffs from sprouted grain – became the third-best (awarded the prize of Br5 mln).
