For the first half of 2009 7 963 children from Mogilev region improved health in Belarusian health resorts financed from the funds of Republican budget; that makes up 61.8% from the year planned (12 887 is planned), - the correspondent of the site was told at educational department of Mogilev regional executive committee.
2 759 children were sent abroad to improve their health within the frameworks of International charitable cooperation. Health improvement of 147 children from the regions contaminated after Chernobyl Atomic Power station catastrophe was financed from the funds of the Union State budget.
According to the specialists, Mogilev region has sustained system of organizing improvement of children’s health.
381 daytime children’s camps and 72 boarding camps are organized during the summer time. 20 489 children attended daytime camps in June, and 7 589 – boarding camps. 25 000 children are to attend boarding camps financed from the funds of the state social insurance, and 27 000 – daytime camps respectively.
