Aleksey Chizhik, a student of 11”B” form of the lyceum of Belarusian-Russian University, became a laureate of the XVI Vernadsky Junior Readings in Moscow. The correspondent of the site was told about it at the Education Department of Mogilev Region Administration.
April,13-17 2009 the XVI Vernadsky Junior Contest took place on the basis of Moscow lyceum N1553. The representatives of the lyceum of Belarusian-Russian University participated in the contest for the second time.
1380 projects were submitted. Aleksey Chizhik was invited to come to Moscow on the extramural stage results. At the contest he showed a sound grounding and made a report on “Research of gamma-rays radiation level of the micro-zone Pervomaiskaia Street - Mira Avenue in Mogilev”. In general, Aleksey has got a diploma of a laureate of the Vernadsky Junior Readings, the first diploma of School Subject Olympiads of Vernadsky Contest of Student Research Projects and other awards. The achieved results allow Aleksey to enter any of Russian Universities without entrance exams.
