On September 12 – 16 Mogilev hosts the ХIII International Animation Film Festival “Animaevka-2010”, - the correspondent of the site learnt from “Kinovideoprokat” Mogilev state company.
Animators from 19 countries (Belarus, the Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Denmark, China, Poland, France, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan among them) will present their films. It will be for the first time when animators from Hungary, Italy, Czechia, Bashkortostan take part “Animaevka”.
122 films were sent; 44 of them have been chosen for participation in the contest, including 7 films of the Belarusian animators (5 are in the Belarusian language).
The agenda of the festival includes theatrical performances, concerts, exhibitions, master-classes. Thus, a master-class will be held by representatives of “Perspectiva” centre of creative development and humanitarian education (Yaroslavl).
Visitors are welcomed to the following animation programmes: “Masha and a bear”, “Animation films of different countries of the world”, “Fairy tales of the East”, “Belarusfilm welcomes”, “Russia presents”, “World animation for adults”, “Animation of CIS countries for adults”.
Winners will be awarded special prizes “Crystal pencil”, diplomas, and valuable presents; the main nominations are “The Best Film of the Festival”, “The Best Experimental Film”, “Master”, “The Best Graphic”.
