Application of funds to build agritownships in Mogilev region has insufficient rates. That is the conclusion made by Petr Rudnik, the head of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, at the session of the regional administration.
The session considered results of social, manufacturing, engineering and transport development of agritownships during 6 months of 2010. Klichev and Bykhov districts are lagging behind. By 2010 the region must develop 203 agritownships, 188 of them have already been put into operation. There are 15 townships more to be developed. The work in the field is of great importance. In Mogilev region only 24% of citizens live in rural areas. It is less than in other regions of the republic.
In Petr Rudnik’s words, the region still keeps the tendency when population leave villages. It proves the fact of insufficient work to provide good living conditions in rural areas. Agritownships have culture, social, educational establishments. There is a problem of manufacturing establishments there. The entrance campaign-2010 proved a good level of knowledge of village school leavers. That’s why it is necessary to make efforts to attract future specialists back.
By December, 1 all agritownships should be put into operation.
