Mogilev Region's 630 health rehabilitation camps are expected to provider treatment for about 54,000 children in 2007, first deputy chairman of the regional education department Nikolai Streltsov told Interfax.
According to the source, the state budget and the local authorities allotted BYR 641.4 million for that purpose.
In his words, particular attention is being paid to young orphans, socially endangered children and children who live in areas affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
The cost of a rehabilitation treatment voucher this year will vary from BYR 280,000 to BYR 310,000. Children's parents will have to pay at least 10% of the voucher cost, the source specified. State donations will vary from BYR 185,000 to BYR 70,000 per voucher.
