October, 16-17 Mogilev holds the seventh Belarusian-Germany twin-cities meeting. 100 representatives from two countries took part in it. Among them there were 200 German public and business organizations cooperating with colleagues from Belarus.
Cooperation of twin-cities during economic crisis was the question of primary importance.
The participants discussed the perspectives of creating a unified data system that will include the necessary information for potential investors about Belarus and Mogilev region. The data system is supposed to represent rent prices, taxation, law, products available at stocks. According to Victor Shorikov, the head of Mogilev regional executive Committee, the Joint Stock Company “Technology Park Mogilev” can be the centre of the system.
German businessmen suggested introducing free visas for business partners to make mutual visits more favourable. They also noted the necessity to develop the infrastructure of the districts of Mogilev region.
All the idea proposed at the conference will be included in the final document which will be sent to the corresponding authorities in Belarus and Germany.
