The 3rd Belarus-Russia cycling marathon dedicated to the Victory Day will reach Mogilev Region on May 4, Interfax learnt from head of the regional youth department Irina Dorofeyeva.
The marathon started on May 1 in Russia's Smolensk, the source specified.
Young cyclists are expected to visit wartime memorials and lay flowers to monuments of Soviet warriors en route.
They will also take part in meetings, sports competitions, concerts and discussions and meet with the war veterans in various cities and towns of Smolensk, Mogilev and Vitebsk regions.
The marathon will end on May 9 in Mogilev, where participants will join the festivities dedicated to the Victory Day.
