The share of energy consumption in the GDP should reduce by 7-8% every year, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergey Sidorski told reporters on Tuesday in Mogilev.
In his words, in 2007 Belarus cut the share of energy consumption in the GDP by 7.5%. This year the figure is expected to reach 8%, he added.
By 2010 the energy efficiency of the Belarusian GDP is expected to fall by 31%, the premier reminded.
At the same time, the share of local fuels in Belarus' annual energy consumption should reach 25%, the premier added.
