Belshina OJSC (Bobruisk) is planning to bring the annual output of metal cord radial tyres to 28,500 by 2010, a company representative told Interfax.
This year the company is planning to upgrade the supersize tyre shop. The estimated cost of the project is EUR 58.8 million.
The upgrading is expected to enable the co triple the output of supersize tyres.
In addition, this year Belshina will launch the serial production of 33,00 R51 tyres designed for dump trucks with a capacity of 130-140 tonnes (BelAZ, Komatsu, Сaterpillar, etc.)
Belshina OJSC is one of Europe's largest producers of tyres. It makes over 200 models of tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The company also makes non-standard equipment and spare parts.
Belshina's produce is compliant with national ISO 9001-36 and German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality systems.
Over 90% of the company's tyres are radial-type. The design and construction of all kinds of tyres produced by Belshina is patent-protected.
