Belshina OJSC increased exports by 33% on the year in H1 2008, a company representative told Interfax-West.
Exports to the CIS (including Russia) has grown by 54.2%, other foreign states – 5.4%.
The total value of exported commodities exceeded $250 million, with 63.2% of Belshina’s commodities exported.
The first half of the year saw tyres exports to Ukraine grow tenfold, Russia – almost threefold.
In monetary terms, the company produced BYR 788.8 bln worth of commodities over January-June 2008, 2.4% up on the year.
Belshina OJSC is one of Europe’s largest producers of tyres. It makes over 230 models of tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The company also makes non-standard equipment and spare parts.
Belshina’s produce is compliant with national ISO 9001-36 and German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality systems.
Over 90% of the company’s tyres are radial-type. The design and construction of all kinds of tyres produced by Belshina is patent-protected.
60% of the company’s output is exported to 57 countries in the CIS, the EU, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and Latin America.
The major Belarusian consumers of the company are BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, MZKT, Gomselmash and Amkodor.
