Belshina OJSC has increased tyre and rubber goods supplies to the home market by 31.1% over the nine-month period, a company representative told Interfax-West.
Over the period in question the company exported $220 million worth of goods to the home market, which makes an equivalent of 1.12 million tyres.
The bulk of supplies falls on car tyres – 425,000 tyres worth $16.4 million. In the meantime, in value terms, truck tyre supplies outweigh the supplies of car tyres on the home market.
Also, they supplied 381,000 tyres for agricultural machinery, worth $781 million.
Belshina OJSC is one of Europe's largest producers of tyres. It makes over 200 models of tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The company also makes non-standard equipment and spare parts.
Belshina's produce is compliant with national ISO 9001-36 and German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality systems.
Over 90% of the company's tyres are radial-type. The design and construction of all kinds of tyres produced by Belshina is patent-protected.
60% of the company's output is exported to 57 countries in the CIS, the EU, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and Latin America.
The major Belarusian consumers of the company are BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, MZKT, Gomselmash and Amkodor.
