Belarus' leading producer of tyres Belshina has expanded a network of regional warehouses, a company representative told Interfax.
Belshina warehouses opened in Pinsk, Gomel, Orsha and Lida in addition to the already existing ones in Minsk, Grodno, Oshmyany, Stolbtsy and Slutsk. By the end of 2007 the company had 25 warehouses in various parts of Belarus, the source epcified.
The company is planning to open warehouses in Asia and Africa.
Belshina OJSC is one of Europe's largest producers of tyres. It makes over 200 models of tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The company also makes non-standard equipment and spare parts.
Belshina's produce is compliant with national ISO 9001-36 and German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality systems.
Over 90% of the company's tyres are radial-type. The design and construction of all kinds of tyres produced by Belshina is patent-protected.
The main Belarusian consumers of Belshina products are BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, MZKT, Gomselmash, Amkodor, etc.
The company exports tyres to 51 countries, including Russia, the CIS, the EU, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and Latin America.
