Belarus' leading producer of tyres Belshina is planning to invest EUR 143.6 million in company development, upgrading and output enlargement in 2007-2010, a company representative told Interfax.
The yearly tyre output is expected to expand by 153,300 units, and the return on sales is expected to grow by EUR 45.1 million.
Belshina OJSC is one of Europe's largest producers of tyres. It makes over 200 models of tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The company also makes non-standard equipment and spare parts.
Belshina's produce is compliant with national ISO 9001-36 and German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality systems.
Over 90% of the company's tyres are radial-type. The design and construction of all kinds of tyres produced by Belshina is patent-protected.
The main Belarusian consumers of Belshina products are BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, MZKT, Gomselmash, Amkodor, etc.
The company exports tyres to 51 countries, including Russia, the CIS, the EU, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and Latin America.
