Belarus’ leading tyre maker Belshina is determined to sustain exports to Poland in 2007 at $2 million despite the fact that Belarus forfeited EU trade preferences for certian commodities in June, including automobile tyres.
Now that the preferences are lost, all Belshina imports will be subject to a 4-4.5% customs duty in the EU states, a company representative told Interfax.
Belshina produces over 200 models of tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The company also makes non-standard equipment and spare parts.
Belshina’s produce is compliant with national ISO 9001-36 and German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality systems.
Over 90% of the company’s tyres are radial-type. The design and construction of all kinds of tyres produced by Belshina is protected by patent.
Belshina prioritises quality. Belarusian-made tyres comply with the German DIN EN ISO 9001-94 quality system.
