BelTa exhibition "The Victors" presented over 70 photographs

Over 70 photographs are presented at the exhibiton "The Victors" held by the Belarusian Telegraph Agency. The exhibition opened on March, 25 at the Mogilev Regional Museum named after P. Maslenikov.

The exhibition is celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war. It represents the pictures taken during the war and contemporary photos. The exhibited pictures show the veterans of the war. Some of the photos reveal the heroic war events.

According to Sergey Zhuk, the director-general of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, we know a lot about the war, but our knowledge of the soldiers who brought us this victory is scarce. That's why the exhibition is focused on personalities. A portrait is its main genre.

The opening ceremony gathered the veterans of the war, war partisans, representatives of Mogilev enterprises and local authorities, youth activists, students and pupils. Mogilev is the second city of the republic that has arranged the exhibition "The Victors". Soon the citizens of Vitebsk and Grodno will see it. May, 2-8 the photos will be represented in Minsk.
