Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant (Mogilev Region, subsidiary of Minsk Tractor Plant) is planning to invest at least BYR 2.5 billion in the energy saving program, Assistant Director Valentin Burakovets told Interfax.
In his words, in 2007 the company invested BYR 9.9 billion in such a program, which helped them save 7,500 equivalent tonnes of fuel.
Founded in 1945, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant produces a wide range of spare parts and aggregates for Belarus tractors. The plant occupies around 3,000 persons.
The plant produces 90 parts and nodes for all MTZ tractor modifications. The produce complies with ISO 9001-2001.
In January 2008 the company made BYR 19 billion worth of goods, or 36.4% up on the year. Consumer goods output grew 8.2%. Exports totaled $2.9 million (a 2.5-fold rise).
The source attributes the growth of output and export to the recent upgrading and renewal of the product range. In particular, the company launched Belarus-320 small tractor model that enjoys a great demand in the Russian Federation.
New goods accounted for 25.8% of the overall output of the company this January (against the target of 21%).
The company's products comply with ISO-9001 and ISO-2001.
