Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant (Mogilev Region, subsidiary of Minsk Tractor Plant) increased the share of newly-launched goods by 9.2 percentage points. Currently they account for 34.2% of the total output, Vice Director Valentin Burakovets told Interfax.
In his words, this year the company is planning to invest BYR 6.5 billion in fixed capital. BYRV 3.2 billion will be tied in investment projects (56% up on the year).
In Q1 2008 the plant produced BYR 62 billion worth of goods, or 41.7% up on the year, a company representative told Interfax. Consumer goods output grew 9.3%.
The company's exports rose by 80% to reach $9 million.
The source attributes the increase to a significant rise in exports to the CIS, which had been facilitated by investments in production upgrade and new technologies.
Founded in 1945, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant produces a wide range of spare parts and aggregates for Belarus tractors. The plant occupies around 3,000 persons.
The plant produces 90 parts and nodes for all MTZ tractor modifications. The produce complies with ISO 9001-2001.
