Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant (Mogilev Region, subsidiary of Minsk Tractor Plant) increased exports 1.7-fold on the year in January-July 2007 to $12.7 million, the company's vice director Valentin Burakovets told Interfax.
The source attributes the increase to a double rise in exports to the Russian Federation. Exports to the CIS (Russia excluded) rose by 13.6%, non-CIS states grew 19.5%, Burakovets reported. In his words, this January-July the company exported goods to the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bulgaria, Egypt, Kazakhstan, the USA.
Over the period in question the company produced BYR 105 billion worth of commodities, or 32.7% up on the year. Consumer goods output grew 8.4%.
Investments in upgrading of production facilities totalled BYR 4.1 billion in January-July, the source added.
Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant delivered almost 75% of its produce to Minsk Tractor Plant and Minsk Motor Plant in January-December 2006.
Founded in 1945, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant produces a wide range of spare parts and aggregates for Belarus tractors.
The plant produces 90 parts and nodes for all MTZ tractor modifications.
