Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant (Mogilev Region, subsidiary of Minsk Tractor Plant) produced BYR 40 billion worth of goods in January-February 2008, or 41.6% up on the year, a company representative told Interfax.
The company’s exports rose by 80%, the source added.
The source attributes the increase to a significant rise in exports to the CIS, which had been facilitated by investments in production upgrade and new technologies.
Founded in 1945, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant produces a wide range of spare parts and aggregates for Belarus tractors. The plant occupies around 3,000 persons.
