Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant (Mogilev Region, subsidiary of Minsk Tractor Plant) increased the output of small MTZ-320 tractors with a capacity of 35 h.p., a company representative told Interfax.
Founded in 1945, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant produces a wide range of spare parts and aggregates for Belarus tractors.
The plant produces 90 parts and nodes for all MTZ tractor modifications. MTZ-20 tractors were launched in March 2007.
In January-October 2007 the company produced BYR 155.6 billion worth of goods, or 35% up on the year. Exports grew 63% to reach $19.3 million, the source reported.
Russia accounted for two-thirds of the company's export.
The source attributes the increase in output to a comprehensive modernization program that the company is carrying out. Fixed-capital investments totaled BYR 7 billion in January-October 2007, or 2.1 times up on the year.
