Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant (Mogilev Region, subsidiary of Minsk Tractor Plant) has made final preparations for launching an MTZ-320 mini-tractor series, Director General Alexander Agranovich told Interfax.
Until recently, this tractor series has been produced only in Minsk, but now the production is relocated to Bobruisk.
Thus, in 2007 Bobruisk is supposed to produce 1,500 such 33-h.p. tractors intended for small-scale farmers.
Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant boosted exports by 32% in January-February 2007, the total value of commodities exported reaching $3.2 million.
The share of goods exported to Russia makes 50.3% of the total value of exports. The enterprise exports its make to Germany and Egypt.
Founded in 1945, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant produces a wide range of spare parts and aggregates for Belarus tractors.
The plant produces 90 parts and nodes for all MTZ tractor modifications.
Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant delivered 63% of its produce to Minsk Tractor Plant in Q1 2006. 8% of the output was delivered to Minsk Motor Plant, the source added.
