Bobruiskagromash OJSC (Mogilev Region), one of Belarus' leading producers of farming machinery, is going to export a large lot of agricultural machinery to Venezuela, Vice Marketing Director Vasili Tsarik told Interfax-West.
In his words, representative of Venezuelan Pedro Camejo visited Bobruiskagromash in early December to make an order for the supply of machinery.
The Belarusian company is going to ship almost 1,000 pieces of machinery (6 types) to Venezuela in February 2009, the source specified.
Bobruiskagromash was founded in 1974. Currently, it produces over 50 kinds of agricultural machines and aggregates for land cultivation and fodder processing.
The company also produces consumer goods, including car trailers, furniture accessories, school furniture, boilers.
The company employs around 2,500 people.
The enterprise prioritizes quality and holds an ISO-9000-2001 quality management certificate.
In January-November 2008 the company produced BYR 147.7 billion worth of goods, or 42.3% up on the year. Exports totaled $36.4 million (50% up).
This year the company has been producing BYR 14 billion worth of machinery on a monthly basis, with the average value of exports at $4 million a month.
