Bobruiskagromash OJSC (Mogilev Region), one of Belarus' leading producers of farming machinery, exported $3.5 million worth of goods to Kazakhstan in January-October 2007, or 7 times up on the year, Interfax learnt from the company's marketing department.
The source attributes the dramatic rise to the recent opening of two dealership centers in Kazakhstan and close co-operation with Kazagrofinance leasing company. In January-October this company sold 80 Bobruiskagromash machines against 36 in 2006, the source specified.
In January-October the company's total exports grew 2.4-fold to reach $22.7 million, the source added.
Bobruiskagromash was founded in 1974. Currently, it produces over 40 kinds of agricultural machines and aggregates for land cultivation and fodder processing.
