Bobruiskagromash OJSC (Mogilev Region), one of Belarus' leading producers of farming machinery, has won a medal and a diploma at the 18th international agricultural exhibition Belagro-2008 in Minsk, a company representative told Interfax.
The company presented 16 types of agricultural machinery at the exhibition, the source specified. The machines attracted attention of potential customers from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Latvia, Finland, Mongolia, Poland, Turkey, Ethiopia, etc.
Bobruiskagromash was founded in 1974. Currently, it produces over 50 kinds of agricultural machines and aggregates for land cultivation and fodder processing.
The company also produces consumer goods, including car trailers, furniture accessories, school furniture, boilers.
The company employs around 2,500 people.
The enterprise prioritizes quality and holds an ISO-9000-2001 quality management certificate.
In January-May 2008 Bobruiskagromash made BYR 65.5 billion worth of goods, or 62.5% up on the year. Exports grew 46% to reach $17.3 million.
