Br 400 mln were granted additionally from city budget for New Year illumination, - the chief engineer of Mogilev city enterprise “Gorsvet” (“City Light”) Alexander Ljubchenko told. More than 2 km of garlands, illumination lights were bought to make the city festive.
Besides, in all old garlands incandescent lamps were replaced by light-emitting diode lamps, which are much brighter. 100 different illumination constructions were produced to decorate the city’s streets, squares, trees, etc.
“This year we shall do our best to make festive Mogilev as beautiful as other European cities, both at night and daytime. We wish citizens and guests of the city to enjoy New Year holidays”, - Alexander Ljubchenko added.
