An automobile bridge has suffered severe flooding in Mogilev Region, the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus told Interfax.
The River Pronya, a Sozh tributary, overflowed and flooded an automobile bridge near the village of Svarsk in Chausy District. It has been reported that the bridge is 25 metres long and 5 metres wide.
As a results of the floods the 74-strong population of several villages in Chausy District got cut off supplying agencies. However, the villages affected can be accessed from the side of Dribin District.
There has been no human casualties.
