Businessmen from Lithuania will construct modern trade and entertainment centre not far from the regional centre, a source from Mogilev district executive committee informed. This €75-mln project will be implemented by the Lithuanian company “Dvaras”.
The investment agreement has already been signed, the construction area of 13-15 ha near Polykovichi village of Mogilev district has been chosen, elaboration of design documents has been started.
The centre’s area will be about 75,000 sq.m. It will house different shops, cafes, pizzeria’s, restaurants, casinos, arcades, bowling, cinema theatres; there will be a parking area for 2,000 cars.
There is no a trade and entertainment centre of the kind even in the regional centre. The construction area near Polykovichi village was chosen not all of a sudden. First of all, it is situated near Solominka microdistrict that has been developing rapidly. Besides, there are two largest highways near – Mogilev – Minsk and Saint-Petersburg – Odessa.
Civil and erection works are to start in the beginning of 2013; the centre is to start operating at the end of 2014 – the beginning of 2015. About 2000-2200 new jobs will be generated there.
