Albina Shaporova, a coach from Kostyukovichi forestry won two golden medals at the 39th European Forest Week in Italy. The information is provided by the Department for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
It hasn’t been her first success. Last year she was the first in free style ski racing and the second in classic style ski racing at the 38th European Forest Week.
The national team from Belarus became one of ten best teams at the forest week in Italy. The best results were shown by Yuri Ilyin (Kostyukovichi forestry), Oleg Solenkov (Cherikov forestry), and Svetlana Matyushevskaya (Kletsk forestry). Belarusian team included 24 representatives. Our main competitors were representatives of Estonia, Check Republic, and Germany. European ski racing competition is considered to be a very popular international sports meeting. Traditionally foresters from 20-30 European countries take part in it.
