In December Mogilev region’s higher education establishments to create anti-drug squads

In December Mogilev region’s higher education establishments will create anti-drug squads. The information is provided by Vladislav Kovalev, the head of drug control and human trafficking combat office.

The groups of activists taking an active part in drug prevention will be created in every higher education establishments. The purpose is to prevent spread of spices and other drugs. In Vladislav Kovalev’s words, the anti-drug squads will be made up of students who will explain their peers the harm of drugs. Militiamen will assist the leaders of the squads. The groups have already been made up in some education establishments of Mogilev and Bobruisk. Other towns of the region are working to launch such squads. The work will be completed by the end of December.

According to Vladislav Kovalev, today spice is considered to be the most dangerous drug causing drug addiction immediately. It leads to the personality degradation and often to lethal outcome. Every month Mogilev region registers accidents with teenagers getting into hospitals with psychotropic substances overdose.
