A new dried vegetable factory will be built in Slavgorod, Interfax learnt from the regional committee for agriculture and foodstuffs.
The factory will process all kinds of fruit, vegetables, greens and berries and put out 98.5-106.5 tonnes of dried products per month (1,018-1148 tonnes per year).
The drying equipment (infrared light) will be supplied by Russian company Russkaya Eda.
The construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2008. The new factory will replace the existing one whose production facilities have been worn out.
The estimated cost of the project is BYR 13 billion.
