One more has been under construction nearby; Bobruisk and Osipovichi have been following this way, and 22 rental flats are to be built in different districts of Mogilev region. 17.6 thousand sq.m. of housing is to have been commissioned in the region by the end of the year to accomplish the tasks set by the head of the state".
Next year the construction volume (including rental housing) is planned to increase. "We aim at speeding construction up to provide housing for all people in need of improving housing conditions within 3-5-year term. So far there are 63,000 people on the list of being in need of improving housing conditions in the region. It stands for 8% of the total Republican number. The housing rate in the region makes up 27.2 sq.m. per person; the figure is higher than the average Republican one. However, we must speed construction up, reduce construction expenditures, and increase the quality of construction", Petr Rudnik assured.
New projects of a cheaper rental housing have been under consideration in the region. The objective may be reached by optimizing design, applying new technologies, and using local building materials.
