A ten-year-boy body was found in the lake near Lenin village of Bobruisk district. According to eyewitnesses account, two boys launched a hand-made raft; suddenly one of them slipped and fell down into the water. Unfortunately, he wasn’t rescued.
In all, five people drowned last week in Mogilev region, the regional organization of the Belarusian Republican Water Rescue Society (OSVOD) informed.
A body of a 50-60 year old man was found in the Ptich river near Balashevichi, Glussk district. There were no signs of violent death; specialists are trying to identify the man.
A 32-year-man body was found in the lake near Sidorovka village of Krasnopolie district. The drunk man wanted to swim and drowned. The circumstances of death of a 63-year pensioner, who had had a drink with his friends at the bank of the Rudeya river near Medvedovka village, were concurrent. Unfortunately, he wasn’t rescued.
Drinking led a 43-year man to death either. Together with his friends he had had a drink not far from Verkhnee lake at the territory of Gorki Agricultural Academy. When the company left, the man and a girl, wearing clothes, jumped into the water. It could have been a suicide. The girl was rescued, unlike the young man.
