Mogilev folk craftsmen took to Moscow “Magileuski gastinets”. That is the name of the ornamental-applied arts exhibition that opened on March,20 at the State Russian Folk Art House. The opening ceremony was held on March,20th. The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Russia informs.
700 exhibits by 80 craftsmen from Mogilev land are presented at the exhibition. The works are done in different genres of ornamental-applied arts: rod and straw braiding, wood engraving, ceramics, embroidery. Birch-bark working and wooden musical instruments are also presented. The exhibition is open till April,15.
