The administrative department of financial investigations of the Committee of State Control of the Republic of Belarus revealed and ceased fraud activities of a 28-year unemployed Mogilev citizen, - Alexander Sharoikin, the head of inspectorial- organizational department told the correspondent of the site.
“The fraudster became acquainted with people in cafés, or in the streets, and offered promotion in favourable decisions of problems they had at State Motor Vehicle Inspectorate. At the same time he hadn’t relations of any kind with this institution. In return he asked $150-300, notebooks of mobile phones for “help”. As a result of the fraud he got a grift of Br 7.7 mln”. Institute proceedings on twenty criminal cases of frauds and bribe offerings have been started against the fraudster. The possible punishment is 2 – 7 years of imprisonment.
