Fruit hatchery “Dusen” to grow 800 000 seedlings for Mogilev region in 2009

Fruit hatchery “Dusen” (Chausy district, Mogilev region) will grow 800 000 seedlings of fruit trees for Mogilev region in 2009. It’s twice as much as in the last year, - Adil Arbuliev, director of the hatchery, told.

Within the frameworks of he Republican programme “Plodovodstvo” (“Fruit Farming”) apple seedlings will have been grown by September for initiation and developing gardens in Mogilev region. The hatchery is to offer a wide range of domestically produced apple breeds – about 30, among them are popular with the population “Belorusskoe sladkoe” (“Sweet Belarusian”), “Alesya”, “Kovalenskovckoe”, “Belyi Naliv”, and others.
