Gorki district increased milk yield for account of a new system of forage delivery. A new loader cuts haylage in blocks and delivers to animals without loses.

The dairy complex “Pesochnya” of OAO “Koptevskaya Niva” in Gorki district introduced a new system. A dipper makes a pointwise cut to make a haylage block without fluffing it up. 

The system has its results: the milk yield increased by 40% to last year’s level. The enterprise has also improved the system of raising young animals. Calves are kept on individual food allowance for 60 days, not 21 days as before. Additional weight makes 1 kilo.
