Fifteen residents of Mogilev Region (heads of companies, organizations, welfare agencies, leaders of public associations) have received the Man of the Year prize on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the region.
The laureates of the prize are Director of Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant Alexander Agranovich, Director of Mogilev Metallurgical Plant Leonid Markov, chairman of the regional committee for architecture and construction Solomon Bolotin, Director of Kostyukovichi-based Bus Depot No. 8 Oleg Panteleyev, chairman of Oktyabr farm Petr Lavnikov, chief agronomist of Gory farm (Gorki District) Lyudmila Shevaldina, etc.
Each laureate received a diploma and a prize of 100 basic units.
The Man of the Year prize was established by Mogilev Region Administration seven years ago to promote innovative ideas and encourage achievements in various spheres of economy and public life, Interfax learnt from the ideology department of the regional administration.
