Heat goes away, salary goes up

Heat used to be a matter of special concern at the sessions of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. Petr Rudnik, the head of Mogilev Regional Administration, used to begin sessions with the issues of fire situation in the region. While the heat is going away the issue of salary is becoming more and more important.

By 8 o’clock on Monday only one fire was fixed – on the border of Belynichi and Klichev districts. The fire was almost put off. A good fire situation is a result of work directed at forbidding citizens to visit forests. The governor and Mogilev Regional Emergency Situations Department paid special attention to the problem of fires and their efforts got good results. There were no fires in agribusiness sector. No protocol was drawn up. Last week-end their number totaled 82. Smog that bothered Mogilev citizens was caused by fires in the Russian Federation.

The governor of the region criticized heads of the industries where there are still organizations and enterprises with salaries less than $250. The question is very important: in the third quarter of 2010 the region will start working at increasing average monthly salary up to $300 and higher. There is no time to waste.
