Today Mogilev Regional Drama Theatre has the premiere of the performance “I want to be Caesar”, - the correspondent of the site was told by the head of literary-dramatic department of the theatre Tsimofei Yarovikov.
“I want to be Caesar” is a family sketch without interval based on the play by Andrei Makajenok. This is the first large-scale production of Anton Kudrevich who has directed the performance and its musical design. The head of production is the director of Mogilev Regional Drama Theatre, the artistic director – Oleg Rybakov.
Tsimofei Yarovikov remarked that “I want to be Caesar” is a modern reading of Andrei Makajenok’s play, - the story of little and large lie, relationships between children and grown-ups. At the same time “I want to be Caesar” is not a usual play by Makajenok.
