Belarusian companies are expected to sign several co-operation contracts with foreign partners during the International Investment Forum that will be held in Mogilev October 9-10.
In particular, there will be signed a co-operation agreement with Austrian Artur D Projektmanagement-Trading GmbH that will build a recycling enterprise in Shklov District (EUR 12 million).
Swedish International Aluminium Gasting AB is expected to help the Belarusian party launch aluminum production (EUR 2 million), which will be fixed in the corresponding protocol of intent.
French Vicat is interested in co-operation with Belarusian cement makers. During the forum representatives of the French company are expected to visit the Belarusian Cement Plant in Kostyukovichi.
Russian Instrument Plants Holding CJSC, Turkish Gemigaya Grup, as well as large companies from Ukraine, Syria and other foreign states are expected to partake in the forum.
Within the framework of the forum there will be arranged the presentation of Mogilev Region's investment projects. Prospective foreign partners will be informed about the legislation and business environment of the region.
The forum will feature the following sections: small towns, architecture and construction, agriculture and procession. In addition, there will be arranged numerous negotiations and business meetings.
Representatives of the large world banks, European business organizations, foreign chambers of commerce and industry and local authorities are expected to partake in the forum, Interfax-West learnt from Mogilev Region Administration.
