January-May gross milk output of agribusiness organizations of Mogilev region increased by 12.6 thousand tons. It is 4.6% up comparing with the same period 2009. The information is provided by the Agribusiness and Foodstuffs Department of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
All districts of Mogilev region showed the tendency of milk production growth. Osipovichi and Klimovichi districts are the best – respectively 9.5% and 7.8%.
Within the five-month period 235.1 thousand tons of milk was sold. It is 81.6% of its production and 83.1% comparing with the same period 2009. Two districts are leaders in milk selling: Khotimsk district (86.9%) and Kirovsk district (86.1%). Krasnopolie district and Krugloe district sold the least milk – respectively (69%) and (72.5%).
January-May 2010 the purchase of milk from population decreased by 24.5% and made 11.8 thousand tons. The tendency is common for all districts of Mogilev region. Krugloe district witnessed a decrease of 41.9%. Gorki, Mogilev, Belynichi, Klichev and Cherikov districts showed a decrease of 33.3-34.9%.
By June, 1 2010 agribusiness organizations of Mogilev region didn’t owe population for purchased milk.
