By July, 1 Mogilev region reported 1% of registered unemployment to the number of economically active population. The information is provided by Vladimir Shepelevich, the deputy head of the Labour, Employment and Social Security Department of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. In small and middle-size townships of the region registered unemployment made 0.8% (the target being – 1.0%).
According to Vladimir Shepelevich, active employment policy of the region keeps the situation stable. In January-June 2010 Mogilev region’s organizations created 11.1 thousand jobs (the yearly target being 21.8 thousand, including 2.4 thousand for small and middle-size townships).
