By June 4 Mogilev region harvested 100 thousand hectares of perennial herbs. It makes 46% to the first hay harvest targets. 70% of the harvested herbs (70.4 thousand hectares) was gathered in. On the instructions of Petr Rudnik, the chairman of Mogilev regional authorities, the first hay harvesting must be completed by June 10.

By today the region laid in 11 thousand tons hay (almost 11% to the target), 253.8 thousand tons haylage (14.7% to the target) including 30.7 thousand tons in polymeric package, 81 thousand tons forage (8% to the target).

Mogilev region started hay harvesting about 2 weeks earlier to 2013. The agriculture and food stuff committee of Mogilev region explains it by favourable weather conditions.
