Belarusian unitary enterprise Krichevtsementoshifer increased the output of cement by 17.1% on the year in January-September 2007, a company representative told Interfax.
Over the period in question the company produced 875,800 tonnes of cement, the source specified.
High-quality cement production made 62% of the overall cement output (М500ДО, М500Д20 types).
The company produced 139,400 tons of cement packed in sacks (25, 50, 1,000 kg), a 22.1% increase on the year.
Krichevtsementnoshifer also produced 71.6 million equivalent roofing slates (20% up).
The company exported 74,000 tonnes of cement and 3 million roofing slates this January-September, the source reported. 70% of the cement and 100% of the roofing slates was shipped to the Russian Federation. Other destinations of Krichevtsementoshifer exports are the Baltic States.
Domestic sales accounted for 91.8% of the overall sales of the company. As of October 1, the stock of ready goods made 17.3% (against the limit of 20%).
Cement accounted for 79% of the overall output of the enterprise that made BYR 107.7 billion in January-September.
In January-September 2007 Krichevtsementnoshifer invested BYR 39.3 billion in fixed assets.
The company was set up in 1933. The staff counts 1,400 persons.
