Belarusian unitary enterprise Krichevtsementoshifer is about to commission a third cement-making furnace, Interfax learnt from Director General Nikolai Dudyko.
According to the source, the assemblage is expected to be completed by the end of 2007. In January-November the company invested BYR 56.3 billion in fixed added, the director added.
With the new oven, the company's annual cement output is expected to reach 500,000 tonnes.
Krichevtsementnoshifer increased the output of cement by 14.6% on the year in January-October 2007. Over the period in question the company produced 1.062 million tonnes of cement.
High-quality cement production made 60% of the overall cement output (М500ДО, М500Д20 types).
The company produced 160,300 tons of cement packed in sacks (25, 50, 1,000 kg), a 21% increase on the year.
Krichevtsementnoshifer also produced 80.6 million equivalent roofing slates (17.6% up).
As of December 1, the stock of ready goods made 10.5% (against the limit of 20%).
In January-November the company turned out BYR 131 billion worth of goods, or 16.4% up on the year.
Exports totaled $10 million. 80.6% of cement and 100% of roofing slates was exported to Russia, and 19.4% of cement was shipped to the Baltic States.
